We have physical offices in Agoura Hills and North Hollywood, CA.
We also work with clients all over California via telehealth—so whether you want to sit on a couch or log in from your car between meetings (it happens), we’ve got you.
-
Honestly, it’s a lot like in-person therapy—just without the commute.
We meet over a secure, HIPAA-compliant Zoom link. You’ll get a link before each session, click it at your appointment time, and we’re in.
You can show up from your home, your office, your parked car—wherever you have privacy and a decent signal. What matters most is that you show up.
-
Yes.
We offer in-person sessions in Agoura Hills and North Hollywood for clients who prefer being in the room together. Some people feel more grounded that way. Others like the flexibility of virtual. There’s no “right” choice—just what works for you.
-
Fees vary depending on the therapist and type of session.
We’ll go over all of that during your free consultation so you have a clear understanding before committing to anything. No surprises, no weird ambiguity.
-
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your care if you’re not using insurance.
In plain terms:
We’ll give you a transparent estimate of what therapy is likely to cost so you can make an informed decision. If you ever have questions about fees, we’ll talk about it directly. Money shouldn’t feel confusing or hidden here.
-
The first session is a little different—it’s an intake, so we’ll meet for 75 minutes instead of the usual 50.
This is where we start to build a fuller picture of you. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, but also your mental health journey so far—the patterns, the context, the family and systems you come from, the culture(s) that have shaped you.
It’s not an interrogation, and you don’t need to have everything neatly packaged. Think of it as the beginning of understanding the bigger story, not just the current chapter.
-
Longer than a quick fix. Shorter than forever.
The honest answer is: it depends.
Some people come in with a specific issue and stay for a few months. Others realize there’s more to unpack and stay longer.
Our goal isn’t to keep you in therapy indefinitely—it’s to help you actually feel different, not just understand yourself better. And that takes the time it takes.
-
Let’s start with a free consultation.
It gives us a chance to connect, answer your questions, and make sure it feels like a good fit—because that matters more than anything.
From there, we’ll get you scheduled and moving forward.
-
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
That said—we’re human, and life happens. If something unexpected comes up, we’ll handle it like adults and figure it out together.
Consistency matters in therapy, but so does reality.
-
Yes. What you share here stays here.
There are a few legal exceptions (like risk of harm to yourself or others, or abuse reporting), which we’ll go over with you so everything is clear.
But outside of those situations, this is a space where you can be honest without worrying about it going anywhere else.
-
We are an out-of-network practice.
That means we don’t bill insurance directly, but we can provide a superbill if you’d like to seek reimbursement through your plan.
We’re happy to walk you through what that might look like—without making it feel like a second job.
-
That’s actually most of our clients.
You probably already understand yourself on a cognitive level. You can explain your patterns, your triggers, your history.
But insight hasn’t translated into change.
Our work focuses on closing that gap—so you’re not just analyzing your life, you’re actually experiencing it differently.
-
You don’t need to come in with a clear plan.
A lot of people just know something feels off—that they’re tired, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns they can’t shift.
That’s enough. We’ll figure out the rest together.
-
You don’t have to figure that out on your own—that’s part of the work we do together.
You’ll come in with your goals, your history, and a sense of what’s not working. From there, we collaborate to determine the most effective path forward. For some people, that might look like EMDR. For others, it might be psychodynamic talk therapy, Brainspotting, intensives, or ketamine-assisted therapy. And sometimes, it’s a more integrative approach that evolves as we go.
If you already have something specific in mind, we can absolutely start there—as long as it’s clinically appropriate. And if you have no idea where to begin, that’s completely fine too.
You don’t need to pick the method. You just need to show up. We’ll figure out the rest together.
-
You don’t need to be 100% sure—that’s what the consultation is for.
Therapy is a relationship. It should feel real, not performative. You should feel challenged and understood.
If it feels like a fit, we’ll move forward. If it doesn’t, we’ll help you find something that does.
